01 - Initial Consultation

 

Your journey begins with a focus on understanding.

The first step is to get to know you. During your initial appointment, you will meet with one of our caring, culturally sensitive therapists who will genuinely listen to your story. This session is intended to be a safe, open, and accepting environment in which you can share your ideas, challenges, and goals without being judged.

Together, we’ll investigate important questions such as:

  • What motivated you to seek therapy?
  • What difficulties or obstacles are you now facing?
  • What are your own goals for enhancing your mental health and well-being?
  • Have you have any prior therapeutic experiences?
  • If so, what tactics worked for you and which did not?
